On November 2, Lumen Technologies and Microsoft announced an expansion of their partnership to jointly market network services to enterprise customers. This collaboration aims to help businesses connect data, applications, and infrastructure across public clouds, private data centers, office locations, and partner environments to support AI application deployment. Under the plan, Lumen intends to bring its full suite of cloud networking and application connectivity services to Azure, thereby expanding the channels through which customers can access these services via the Microsoft cloud and AI ecosystem. The two companies will also enhance joint customer planning and explore bringing more Lumen services to Azure and the Microsoft Marketplace. The existing service Alkira is already available through the Microsoft Marketplace.
