This alliance seeks to work hand-in-hand with government and local authorities across seven pivotal states to devise standardized and regulatory frameworks for data center construction by 2027, aiming to preempt any potential prohibitions on new initiatives. The initial phase of the coalition's operations will be rolled out in Texas, Georgia, Ohio, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and South Carolina. To date, the coalition has secured backing from prominent entities such as Blackstone, OpenAI, QTS, and SoftBank Group, and has also elicited favorable responses from major unions, including the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
