On the afternoon of September 24, the Organizing Committee of the Global Digital Trade Expo unveiled the Global Digital Trade Development Report 2026. The report highlights that global digital trade exports are anticipated to surge to US$7.75 trillion in 2025, marking a 7.1% year-on-year increase. This figure will represent 22.2% of the total global goods and services exports, up by 2.6 percentage points from 2021. For several years running, global digital trade has outstripped the overall growth rate of global trade, showcasing its robust development resilience.

The report provides a comprehensive analysis of the scale, landscape, regulatory environment, technological advancements, and innovative practices within the global digital trade sector. It also offers predictions on industry development trends. Notably, digital delivery trade exports are estimated at approximately US$5.26 trillion, constituting 67.9% of total exports. Significant growth has been observed in areas such as cloud infrastructure and AI services. Meanwhile, digital order trade exports reached US$2.49 trillion, with the industry's competitive edge now shifting towards localized fulfillment and compliance governance.
