On September 21st, reports emerged that Liu Liehong, Director of the National Data Administration, along with his delegation, visited Gansu Province from September 16th to 17th for research purposes. The delegation toured several enterprises, including PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical, Yongcheng Hengyi, China Telecom Wanwei, and the Silk Road Information Port (operated by Gansu Provincial Data Group), and also conducted a symposium. During their research, the team discovered that Gansu Province has made notable strides in the market-oriented allocation reform of data elements. The province is vigorously implementing the 'Compute East, Store West' strategy and is actively involved in the construction of a national integrated computing network. It has already established a preliminary unified scheduling service platform for computing resources throughout the province. Gansu Province is focusing on collaborative progress from both the supply and demand perspectives, emphasizing the development of demonstration scenarios in sectors such as petrochemicals and financial services, and enhancing the integrated application of data. Additionally, the province is leveraging data elements to empower artificial intelligence innovation by constructing a high-quality dataset platform. This platform facilitates the integration of computing services and model invocation services, offering robust support for the innovative application of industry-specific models and specialized intelligent agents.
