The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the National Development and Reform Commission, has unveiled the '15th Five-Year Plan' for the Advancement of the Electronic Information Manufacturing Sector. This strategic blueprint outlines a vision to revolutionize the architectural design of ultra-large-scale intelligent computing facilities, aiming to construct artificial intelligence clusters capable of integrating hundreds of thousands of computing cards. Furthermore, it emphasizes the acceleration of a holistic, full-chain deployment of spatial computing, fostering synergistic innovation between computing capabilities and energy management. The plan also addresses critical challenges in distributed edge computing architectures, aiming to bolster their application and robustness. Additionally, it seeks to overcome limitations in specialized accelerators and large-scale parallel computing, thereby elevating the performance of Z-level supercomputing to unprecedented heights.
