On September 14th, news emerged that Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area had successfully rolled out its inaugural batch of 'Yiqi Token Loans', boasting a combined credit limit of close to 2 billion yuan. This marks the city's pioneering venture into computing power token-based lending. This innovative financial product transcends conventional credit assessment frameworks by leveraging enterprise token utilization and the contractual value of computing power services as pivotal credit determinants. It incorporates holistic evaluations, encompassing technological innovation barriers and team proficiency, to forge a novel financing avenue for technology startups. A consortium of six banks, including the Agricultural Bank of China and CITIC Bank, have extended credit facilities to assist enterprises in surmounting funding obstacles.
