On September 10, 2026, the Connectivity Sub-Forum of the China Unicom Partner Conference took place in Shanghai. During the event, with the support and guidance of relevant Beijing-based departments, the China Unicom Research Institute—situated in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area—teamed up with local partners, including Galaxy Space, ZTE Digital Nebula, and Blue Arrow Aerospace, to officially inaugurate the Beijing 6G Space-Air-Ground Integrated Laboratory. The laboratory is designed to serve as a focal point for advancing key technologies in space-air-ground integration, fostering research and accelerating the application of 6G space-air-ground integrated systems.
