At the 2026 China Computing Power Conference, the Beijing Space Intelligent Computing Research Institute embarked on the Space-Earth Integrated Cross-Domain Intelligent Computing Network (SEE) project. The project's goal is to incrementally integrate computing resources from ground-based facilities, Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites. This integration aims to establish a fully space-encompassing intelligent computing network. Concurrently, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology will collaborate with the institute to set up the Space Computing Power Key Technology and Scenario Validation Laboratory. This laboratory will concentrate on pioneering technology research, engineering validation, multi-domain scenario verification, and the development of an industrial standard evaluation system, thereby forging a comprehensive and integrated innovation platform.
