During the 2026 Pujiang Innovation Forum's Achievement Showcase Event, Oriental Space Computing, in partnership with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, along with numerous research bodies and enterprises spanning the entire industrial chain, introduced the 'Pearl Constellation Plan.' The overarching ambition of this plan is to construct a space-based computing constellation with a capacity on the gigawatt scale. Its objective is to establish, by 2030, a globally encompassing, space-ground collaborative, and independently controllable space intelligent computing infrastructure and service network. This endeavor aims to forge an integrated space-ground intelligent computing power framework in Shanghai, nurture the space computing sector, advance the industrialization of space-based computing networks, bolster China's prowess in space computing, and pave novel avenues for the development of a global intelligent computing power network.
