Oracle has released its financial results for the first fiscal quarter, revealing an adjusted revenue of $19.35 billion, which surpassed market expectations set at $19.13 billion. Breaking down the figures, the software segment contributed $5.55 billion, falling marginally short of the anticipated $5.67 billion. In contrast, the cloud infrastructure (IAAS) sector shone brightly, generating $7.39 billion in revenue, outstripping the market's forecast of $7.19 billion. Meanwhile, cloud application (SAAS) revenue reached $4.22 billion, slightly below the expected $4.26 billion. Looking ahead, Oracle anticipates adjusted earnings per share for the fiscal year to hit $8.10, and it projects a robust 30% to 34% growth in total revenue for the upcoming second fiscal quarter.
