Chengdi Xiangjiang has made an announcement stating that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xiangjiang System Engineering Co., Ltd., was initially tasked with the general contracting responsibilities for the construction of the 'Cloud Computing Data Center Project of Shuncheng Building No. 2 within the Innovation Industry Base Project (Factory Building)'. Nevertheless, owing to adjustments in the client's construction timeline and evolving customer requirements, the project's construction has encountered delays. Consequently, the company has refrained from making any investments in this project to date. Presently, due to heightened competition within the industry and escalating raw material costs, the pricing terms stipulated in the original contract are no longer feasible. Following mutual consultations, both parties have reached a consensus to terminate the original contract. It is anticipated that this decision will lead to a decrease in the company's revenue by approximately RMB 403 million.
