Nokia’s (NOK.US) pre-market shares have continued their upward trajectory, climbing more than 5% to reach $11.19, building on yesterday’s impressive gain of over 6%. The surge comes on the heels of the company’s announcement on Tuesday that it has unveiled the industry’s first managed mobile core network online testing platform, known as Mobile Core Early Access. This innovative platform offers global telecom operators and enterprises access to an end-to-end real network environment, facilitating early, hands-on validation of cutting-edge technologies like 5G core networks. By doing so, it helps reduce both the costs and uncertainties associated with evaluating new technologies prior to their commercial rollout. The project is set to commence a pilot phase in June 2026, with global industry registration opening on September 8.
