The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has recently unveiled a plan, setting out 13 crucial indicators. The plan envisions that by 2030, the revenue of the information and communications sector will soar to RMB 4.1 trillion. Meanwhile, the cumulative investment in information infrastructure is projected to reach RMB 3.8 trillion. The total volume of telecommunications services is expected to experience an average annual growth of 7%. There will be 50 5G (including 5G-A) base stations for every 10,000 individuals. Intelligent computing power is set to skyrocket to 9800 EFLOPS, and the penetration rate of 5G (including 5G-A) users will climb to 95%.
