This strategic blueprint underscores the necessity of bolstering the research and development of pivotal core technologies. It specifically highlights the acceleration of R&D and testing endeavors for core 6G technologies, fostering the progression of ultra-high-speed, large-capacity optical transmission, optical access, and submarine optical communication technologies. Furthermore, it calls for the swift R&D and deployment of novel optical fiber technologies, such as hollow-core optical fibers, and the exploration of integrated application technologies, including vehicular optical communications and industrial control optical networks.
Concurrently, the plan also advocates for heightened innovation in data communication technologies, urging the overcoming of key challenges like IP wide-area lossless transmission and flow-level load balancing. It encourages the promotion of R&D in computing power transmission channel technologies, such as computing access and computing network resource awareness. Additionally, the plan places a strong emphasis on critical satellite communication technologies, encompassing efficient star-ground transmission, inter-satellite networking, and routing.
