The data center, located in Nueces County, Texas, USA, is being constructed by Bitcoin mining company and data center developer Hut 8. NVIDIA had signed an agreement with Hut 8 weeks earlier to secure the computing power resources of this data center. Lambda will utilize the data center and deploy chips procured from NVIDIA to provide cloud computing services for Anthropic.
