On August 27, Alibaba Cloud officially inaugurated its data center in Brazil. This state-of-the-art facility boasts two availability zones, providing a comprehensive suite of cloud services—including computing, storage, and database solutions—to both enterprise clients and developers. Additionally, enterprise-grade AI services are set to be introduced in stages. This launch signifies Alibaba Cloud's second strategic foothold in the Latin American market, following the activation of its first node in Mexico in February 2025. As of now, Alibaba Cloud's global infrastructure spans 31 regions and encompasses 106 availability zones, cementing its position as one of the most extensive cloud computing networks globally.
