On August 27th, reports indicated that as of June this year, China's average daily token invocation volume has soared beyond 500 trillion times. Presently, the global supply of intelligent computing resources is experiencing a tightening trend. In response, multiple regions across China are expediting the establishment of domestic token factories and intelligent computing hubs. This move is propelling the domestic computing power industry chain to transition from the 'product validation' phase to 'mass delivery'.
Recently, an intelligent computing hub project, boasting a total investment of 950 million yuan, secured approval in Guangzhou's Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Upon its completion, this hub will cater to businesses such as text-to-video generation and code writing for artificial intelligence enterprises. It will also facilitate the international expansion of Chinese tokens. Liu Miao, the founder of Guangzhou Turing New Intelligent Computing, highlighted that the current demand may outstrip supply by more than tenfold. He further noted that all stakeholders have firmly pivoted towards the domestic ecosystem this year. Zhang Chen, Deputy General Manager of the Market Development Business Division at China Power Engineering Consulting Group, disclosed that there has been a significant uptick in demand for domestic chips, with order schedules potentially stretching up to a year.
