Space-based data center startup Starcloud has completed a $250 million funding round, reaching a valuation of $2.3 billion. The round was led by Manhattan West, with participation from NVIDIA and Cisco Investments, alongside continued support from existing investors. The funds will be used to expand manufacturing capacity, deepen collaboration with NVIDIA, and procure next-generation products. Starcloud plans to establish a production facility in Washington State for its next-generation spacecraft, with a long-term goal of deploying a constellation of 88,000 satellites to provide 20 gigawatts of orbital computing power.
