On August 11 (local time), Alpha Compute, a company specializing in artificial intelligence infrastructure, made public its signing of a legally binding letter of intent. This agreement outlines the acquisition of natural gas assets located in Pennsylvania, USA, and the subsequent construction of a data center park. The park is initially planned to have a capacity of 200 megawatts, harnessing natural gas as its power source, with provisions for potential expansion up to 1 gigawatt in the future. The foundational cost for acquiring these assets is set at $55 million. Upon the formalization of the final agreement, Alpha Compute is obligated to submit a deposit of $3 million.
