As per recent reports, Japan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are actively engaged in negotiations regarding the establishment of a state-of-the-art data center in Akita Prefecture. The ambitious project is projected to incur costs of up to 2 trillion yen and is anticipated to commence operations by the year 2030. In a significant move, the UAE's ambassador to Japan is scheduled to visit Akita Prefecture mid-month, where he will hold discussions with the prefectural governor to further advance the project.
