During SpaceX's Q2 earnings call, Musk stated that SpaceX and Tesla are two of the top companies on Earth in terms of hardware capabilities, possibly including Chinese companies as well. He mentioned that he would apply expertise from the rocket and satellite sectors to the construction of ground-based data centers, noting that even a small amount of rocket manufacturing experience could bring significant benefits to data center construction. Additionally, Musk anticipated that future data centers' demand for power supply and cooling capacity would far exceed expectations. He also revealed that he had discussed with Nvidia and expected to secure a substantial portion of its GPU production capacity next year.
