To ensure the smooth implementation of its data center project in Georgia, OpenAI has introduced a series of community-benefiting initiatives for the surrounding areas. On Wednesday, OpenAI unveiled its 'Project Camellia' plan, which proposes to build a data center campus in a rural area of Effingham County, Georgia, with a total investment of at least $20 billion and a power demand of 3.2 gigawatts.
