At Computex Taipei 2026, Intel unveiled a new strategy for its data center business and launched the Xeon 6+ server processor series, codenamed 'Clearwater Forest.' This series integrates up to 288 E-cores in a single CPU, optimized for AI training and inference workloads. Intel noted that data center infrastructure is rapidly shifting towards the 'forefront of AI training and inference,' predicting that AI and traditional data center workloads will each account for half of the market over the next five years, with AI inference becoming one of the mainstream scenarios.
