On May 27, 2026, Tencent Meeting formally introduced the 'Audio Chain' function. This function effectively addresses the howling phenomenon that arises when multiple devices activate their microphones at the same time within a single meeting room. Moreover, it can automatically recognize the speaker. The 'Audio Chain' function makes use of Tencent's TianLai Lab's 'Cross-Device AI Echo Cancellation Technology.' By performing echo cancellation on the audio from each device and then uniformly transmitting the processed audio to the Audio Chain center for mixing and alignment before uploading it to the meeting system, it delivers a clear and seamless audio experience solely through a software-based solution. Users can access this function by upgrading to the latest version of Tencent Meeting.
