Amidst the wave of artificial intelligence, computing power has become a key productive force, and China's computing infrastructure enterprises have innovatively built computing centers offshore. In the East China Sea, east of Xiaoyangshan in Lingang, Shanghai, the world's first seabreeze-connected subsea data center has been put into operation, with a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan and a Phase I installed capacity of 2.3 megawatts. If the project were to use traditional freshwater cooling methods, its annual freshwater consumption would reach 40,000 tons. However, through the use of passive refrigerant circulation technology, with seawater as the cooling source, it has achieved zero freshwater consumption.
