According to The Elec, SoftBank Group has selected South Korean startup DeltaX to build an energy storage system for data centers in Osaka, with plans for mass production in the fourth quarter of 2027. Initially, it will establish a lithium iron phosphate battery production line with an annual capacity of 1GWh and a zinc-bromine battery production line with a capacity of 100MWh.
