The plan emphasizes the need to foster integrated innovation in sixth-generation mobile communication technologies, including 5G-A, 6G, terahertz, and satellite internet. This will enable the realization of seamless 'air-space-ground' connectivity, fulfilling the ever-growing demand for limitless connections among 'humans, machines, and objects'. Additionally, Guangdong will prioritize breakthroughs in key areas such as integrated communication and sensing, as well as space-ground-sea integrated networking. Efforts will also be directed towards promoting the research, development, and industrialization of cutting-edge technologies like ultra-large-scale antenna arrays, high-performance radio frequency devices, and intelligent 6G terminals.
