According to Google's traffic monitoring data, on March 28th, the proportion of users worldwide accessing its services via IPv6 connections reached 50% for the first time, marking a historic breakthrough for the protocol 28 years after its inception in 1998. APNIC statistics show that the global IPv6 usage rate is 43%, with Asia and the Americas nearing 50%. Cloudflare data indicates that IPv6 accounts for 40% of actual transmitted traffic, a figure that holds greater significance as it is based on statistics of actual transmitted data packets.
