The Guangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission has issued a public call for feedback on the "Draft 15th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Modern Infrastructure in Guangzhou." The plan emphasizes the need for coordinated planning in the construction of computing infrastructure. It envisions establishing a high-quality, robust computing power supply system, spearheaded by intelligent computing capabilities. This system will feature a harmonious development of general, super, and edge computing, tailored to meet the economic growth demands of a major metropolis. Additionally, the plan aims to optimize the alignment between the supply and demand of intelligent computing resources. It advocates for progress in projects such as the second phase of the China Mobile Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangzhou) Communication Building. Furthermore, the plan seeks to bolster the inclusive service capabilities of the Guangzhou Artificial Intelligence Public Computing Power Center and the Pazhou Intelligent Computing Center, among others, thereby fostering the creation of a comprehensive, service-oriented computing cluster area.
