On March 9, the People’s Government of Jinshan District, Shanghai, entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba Cloud. Under this agreement, both parties will expedite the development of Alibaba’s Feitian Cloud Intelligence East China Computing Power Center and construct a large-scale computing hub utilizing the ‘Zhenwu’ chip. This center is set to emerge as one of the premier intelligent computing hubs in East China, playing a pivotal role in positioning Shanghai as a leading artificial intelligence hub. The agreement specifies that the center will prioritize the deployment of T-Head’s ‘Zhenwu’ computing power chips, creating a fully self-reliant computing infrastructure that spans from the foundational chips and intelligent computing platforms to the upper-tier applications. The aim is to set a new standard for green computing power. By harnessing the capabilities of this computing power center, both parties will collaborate to foster the growth of the computing power ecosystem and support Jinshan District in its quest to become an AI-driven city that functions seamlessly 24/7 across all sectors.
