Recently, a number of netizens have reported an issue wherein, following their participation in Tencent Cloud's complimentary OpenClaw installation campaign, their accounts began experiencing a series of frequent, yet minor, deductions. These deductions have cumulatively amounted to over 200 yuan, prompting users to raise concerns over what they perceive as Tencent's "questionable conduct." In response to these allegations, Tencent clarified that the charges in question stem from historical service usage and are not associated with the recent deployment of OpenClaw. It is important to note that while OpenClaw itself is offered free of charge, its operational functionality necessitates the invocation of large model API interfaces. Fees for these services are calculated based on Token consumption. Consequently, users who deploy OpenClaw and engage in interactions with the agent will utilize PU resources, leading to relatively high Token consumption. As such, users are advised to monitor their resource package balances closely to avoid any unexpected charges.
