On March 6, during the economic-themed press conference of the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress, Zheng Shanjie, the Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, announced that 109 significant projects and initiatives, as outlined in the 15th Five-Year Plan, would be propelled forward. This move is accompanied by a series of measures aimed at bolstering effective investment. Specifically, the focus will be on accelerating the development of the 'six networks'—comprising water networks, power grids, computing networks, new-generation communication networks, urban underground pipeline networks, and logistics networks—along with other pivotal areas such as comprehensive three-dimensional transportation systems, infrastructure and public service amenities for consumption, logistics, the low-altitude economy, 'artificial intelligence+', education, and healthcare. According to preliminary estimates, investment in these sectors is projected to exceed RMB 7 trillion this year.
