Data released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology reveals that the global computing power landscape is expanding at a remarkable pace. By June 2025, the cumulative computing capacity of computing devices worldwide had soared to 4,495 EFlops, representing a staggering 117% surge. Intelligent computing power emerged as the dominant force, comprising a substantial 85% of this total. The computing industry is currently witnessing robust growth, with the intelligent computing sector standing out prominently. Notably, the market sizes for both AI servers and AI chips have doubled during this period. In the same timeframe, China's computing devices collectively achieved a total computing power of 962 EFlops, contributing approximately 21% to the global total. This signifies a year-on-year increase of 73%. Moreover, the scale of intelligent computing power within China reached 782 EFlops, marking a 96% year-on-year growth and accounting for 81% of China's overall computing power.
