On February 25, Founder Securities released its 2026 strategy report on the power equipment industry. The report highlighted that in 2025, stock prices within the AIDC (Artificial Intelligence Data Center) sector witnessed five distinct rounds of surges. These surges were primarily propelled by escalating capital expenditure expectations from both domestic and international manufacturers, performance that surpassed market expectations, and notable technological advancements within the industry.
Looking forward to 2026, the AIDC industry is poised to sustain its robust growth trajectory. On one front, leading internet companies, both domestic and foreign, have unveiled their capital expenditure plans for the year. Notably, overseas manufacturers, in general, anticipate increases exceeding 50%. On the other hand, overseas power equipment manufacturers, including Vertiv, Siemens, and Flunce, have showcased exceptional performance, underscoring the significant growth potential inherent in the AIDC sector. Furthermore, the widening gap between the escalating electricity consumption of U.S. data centers and the aging power infrastructure presents a golden opportunity for domestic power equipment manufacturers to expand their footprint overseas.
