Based on the 2025 Communications Industry Statistical Bulletin unveiled by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, preliminary estimates indicate that the cumulative revenue from telecommunications services in 2025 is projected to reach RMB 1.75 trillion, reflecting a 0.7% increase compared to the previous year. When calculated using the prices from the preceding year, the overall volume of telecommunications services is expected to experience a 9.1% year-on-year surge. Notably, revenue generated from emerging businesses within this sector is set to amount to RMB 450.8 billion, marking a 4.7% rise and emerging as the primary catalyst for growth.
