On January 11, reports emerged that Liu Liehong, the head of the National Data Administration, presided over a symposium dedicated to data property rights registration on January 7. The event saw the participation of representatives from the Beijing Internet Court, Peking University, data management authorities from four distinct regions, as well as numerous enterprises. The primary focus of the meeting was to gather insights and recommendations for refining documents pertaining to the data property rights registration system. The National Data Administration intends to leverage insights from various sectors, integrate feedback from all stakeholders, and innovatively craft a registration system that aligns with the unique attributes of data. This move aims to facilitate the smoother circulation and more effective utilization of data, ultimately unlocking the latent value of data elements.
