This evening, China Telecom Shanghai Customer Service issued a statement, noting that as Shanghai's premier communication service provider, it has consistently strived to offer superior network services to users citywide. However, it acknowledged that users might experience instances where WiFi speeds vary across different indoor rooms, failing to meet expected standards due to a multitude of factors. To address this, customers can simply dial 10000 to avail themselves of complimentary professional network testing and repair services. Earlier, on December 18, Luo Yonghao took to social media to voice his dissatisfaction with Shanghai Telecom's internet speed. He mentioned that despite subscribing to Telecom's exclusive gigabit broadband service for over six months after relocating to Shanghai, the actual internet speed he experienced was predominantly below 100 Mbps.
