On December 17th, at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Artificial Intelligence Innovation Conference, which was organized by the Sugon Ecosystem Organization, UCloud and Hygon convened a symposium to further strengthen their collaborative efforts. The event saw the participation of Ji Xinhua, the Chairman and CEO of UCloud, alongside Sha Chaoqun, the President of Hygon. The two parties delved into comprehensive discussions covering collaborative innovation within domestic computing power platforms, localization endeavors in the realm of public clouds, and the co-construction of ecosystems, ultimately arriving at several points of consensus.
Capitalizing on the technological prowess of Hygon's DCU (Deep Computing Unit) and UCloud's Kongming AI Computing Platform, both entities have decided to establish a joint laboratory. This laboratory will be dedicated to addressing critical technological hurdles in pivotal business scenarios, as well as undertaking collaborative research and development initiatives in areas such as computing power virtualization and the scheduling of heterogeneous resources.
As they look to the future, both sides are also poised to embark on pilot localization cooperation within public cloud settings. This will involve deployment and validation processes centered around Hygon's domestically produced P-series CPUs.
