On November 19, 2025, SAP, the largest software enterprise in Europe, made an announcement stating that it would be capable of sustaining its service operations even in the event that foreign governments restrict its access to Microsoft's cloud services. Previously, the sanctions imposed by the Trump administration on the International Criminal Court in The Hague had sparked worries across Europe. There were fears that U.S. tech behemoths could succumb to political pressures. In light of these concerns, SAP and Microsoft entered into an agreement on Tuesday, pledging to safeguard uninterrupted business operations in Europe during times of crisis. As per the terms of the agreement, SAP's newly launched product, Delos Cloud, tailored for government clients, will be able to continuously support the functioning of Microsoft-related services during emergency scenarios, including situations where government sanctions are in place.
