On Wednesday, American tech behemoth Microsoft and Abu Dhabi-based G42 Group jointly announced their intention to expand data center computing capacity in the UAE by 200 megawatts. This move is in line with Microsoft's pledge to invest over $15 billion in the country. The new computing capacity will be supplied via Hazena Data Centers, a subsidiary of G42. It is anticipated that this additional capacity will be gradually put into operation by the end of next year, although specific details remain undisclosed at this time.
