Kingsoft Cloud made an announcement on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stating its intention to issue new shares under its general mandate. On September 23, after the close of trading hours, the company entered into a placing agreement with the placing agents. According to this agreement, the company conditionally agreed to arrange, through the placing agents, the sale of a total of 338 million new shares. These shares were to be offered at a price of HK$8.29 each, which represents an 8.8% discount from the market price, and were to be allocated to no fewer than six investors.
