MIIT Reports: Software Business Revenue Surpassed 8.3246 Trillion Yuan in First Seven Months, Rising 12.3% Year-on-Year

For the first seven months of 2025, China's software industry generated a total revenue of 8.3246 trillion yuan, marking a year-on-year growth of 12.3%. Profits for the period totaled 1.089 trillion yuan, an increase of 12.4%. Additionally, software business exports amounted to $33.98 billion, reflecting a 5.2% rise compared to the same period last year. Breaking down the figures, software product revenue reached 1.8011 trillion yuan, a 10.6% year-on-year increase, comprising 21.6% of the industry's overall revenue. Among these, basic software products generated revenue of 105.2 billion yuan, up 13%, while industrial software products contributed 167.7 billion yuan, up 8.8%.
