The 2025 China Computing Power Conference kicked off in Datong, Shanxi, on August 23, under the theme "Laying the Foundation for Computing Networks, Leading the Future with Intelligence." Xiong Jijun, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, emphasized that China aims to bolster the development of a diverse, ubiquitous, intelligent, agile, secure, reliable, green, and low-carbon computational power infrastructure. This endeavor seeks to elevate the efficiency of computational power resource utilization, foster high-quality growth in the computational power network, and solidify the competitive edge of the information and communication industry. By the end of June this year, China had deployed 10.85 million standard racks in its computing power centers, with the scale of intelligent computing power reaching an impressive 788 EFLOPS.
