Foxconn and Japan's SoftBank have joined forces to manufacture data center equipment at Foxconn's former electric vehicle plant in Ohio. This initiative is designed to bolster the United States' artificial intelligence infrastructure project, dubbed 'Stargate'. Co-funded by SoftBank, OpenAI, and Oracle, the 'Stargate' project aims to establish state-of-the-art AI data centers. The partnership leverages the factory's unique qualifications and infrastructure, tailored specifically for data center operations.
