China's service sector production index experienced a 5.8% year-on-year growth in July, marking significant expansions in key areas such as information transmission, software, and information technology services, the financial sector, and leasing and business services. From January to July, the cumulative growth rate of the service sector production index stood at 5.9% year-on-year. Additionally, from January to June, the operating revenue of service enterprises above a specified size surged by 7.5% year-on-year. In July, the business activity index and business activity expectation index for the service sector were recorded at 50.0% and 56.6%, respectively, indicating a high level of prosperity across industries like railway transportation, air transportation, postal services, as well as culture, sports, and entertainment.
