Infosys announced on Wednesday that it will acquire a 75% stake in the Versent Group, a subsidiary of the Telstra Group, for AUD 233.3 million (approximately $153 million). Versent Group specializes in providing cloud services to various sectors in Australia, including finance, energy, utilities, government, and education. In a statement, Infosys noted that the transaction is anticipated to conclude in the second half of fiscal year 2026, contingent upon approvals from the Foreign Investment Review Board and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
