On August 4, 2025, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) issued a partial final determination in the ongoing 337 investigation concerning specific rechargeable batteries and their components. In this decision, the ITC opted not to revisit the preliminary ruling handed down by the Administrative Law Judge on July 3. Notably, following a settlement agreement, the ITC has terminated the investigation involving four defendant companies, comprising two American firms and two enterprises from Guangdong, China.
