Under the guidance of Professor Lu Canzhong from the Fujian Institute of Material Structure at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a research team proposed and detailed a novel strategy for constructing and regulating multi-channel charge transfer (MPCT) excited states. Leveraging this strategy, they successfully developed a deep-blue thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) material. This material employs specific derivatives and boron-oxygen fused rings as electron donors and acceptors, respectively, enabling efficient blue light emission through precise excited state management. It boasts impressive luminous performance and thermal stability, characterized by high maximum external quantum efficiency, exceptional color purity, and minimal concentration quenching effect. This groundbreaking research offers a fresh perspective for the advancement of high-performance deep-blue light materials.
