The United States International Trade Commission (ITC) has issued a preliminary determination that BOE has violated Samsung Display's trade secrets, in contravention of Section 337 of the Tariff Act. Consequently, the ITC aims to prohibit the importation of BOE OLED panels and mandate the withdrawal of existing stocks from the American market. BOE intends to seek a review of this decision and will vigorously contest the ruling.
