On July 18, the three major U.S. stock indexes concluded trading with mixed performances. The Nasdaq Composite Index inched up 0.05%, while the S&P 500 Index dipped slightly by 0.01%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, however, fell by 0.32%. Among large-cap technology stocks, the performance was mixed. Netflix declined by more than 5%, while Nvidia and Microsoft also registered minor losses. Conversely, Tesla saw robust gains exceeding 3%, Amazon rose by more than 1%, and Google, Apple, and Meta all posted slight increases. Popular Chinese concept stocks generally trended upwards, with JD.com and iQIYI both surging more than 3%. Alibaba and Bilibili also gained more than 2%, while Li Auto increased by over 1%. Pinduoduo, Baidu, and Xpeng Motors all recorded minor gains. Notably, Tencent Music bucked the trend, falling by more than 4%.
